Postpartum means following childbirth -
It is a time of absolute bliss and a time of hormonal tears
It is full of magic and full of emotion
It is the beginning of our journey as parents
And it sets the tone for our road ahead
Let your road be as beautiful as the baby you birthed
“We took Jessica’s labor course and wish we would have taken her postpartum course too. I could have used more prep on the postpartum period, it absolutely rocked me. I was so fixated on labor and delivery, I didn’t do much to prepare myself or my world for once our baby was here. And I really regret that. I did not feel completely present at the beginning, I didn’t know how to take care of my own body, I wasn’t good at asking for help and I felt so overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to start. In hindsight, I wish I had taken her course to be better equipped for the months after the delivery.“
