I come from a line of women who were desperate. Begging for more. But all they got was survival. My great-grandmother was six when she lost her mom. She grieved the loss of multiple siblings, two of her young kids, her husband leaving for war and never coming back, and she lived an incredibly hard life escaping death on several occasions. She lived a lifetime of unimaginable pain and had incredible strength because she had no other option.
My grandmother, grew up in the aftermath. She experienced what it meant to lose everything, to start over with nothing, and to keep going. But at 55, she began asking a different question: Why am I here? And she spent the rest of her life exploring it. At 87, she is still learning, still questioning, still desiring more and expanding what it means to be alive.
My mom wanted something different for her children. She carried the weight of her own childhood, fought to break the patterns she inherited, and made choices that gave me freedoms the women before her could barely imagine. She left her home country to move to the United States with $100 and a suitcase in hopes to build a life of possibility. Then cancer flipped our world upsidedown. After seven years in remission, her cancer returned and I held her as she passed just days before my 25th birthday. I promised myself I would carry her mission for freedom forward. Each of the women in my lineage had a relentless desire to make life better for the women who came next. I think about what it means to inherit more than survival. To have the freedom to choose a life, rather than simply endure the one handed to you. To want without guilt. To create without permission. To be fully alive while you’re here.
Now I’m on a mission to not only break the pattern of survival in my lineage, but break every woman free to live outrageously alive and experience true freedom. This is the legacy I choose to carry forward.
Born Leader is the movement that takes us there.
For the women who refuse to settle. For the women who want to find out just how far they can go. For every little girl who deserves to grow up believing that her life is hers to create.

She is you.
Not some man in the sky you pray to who decides what you get to have. No. Fuck no. You are the creator of your life who gets to decide what you get to have and just how much. You get to decide how limitless you want to be.

The Born Leader women before you fought for freedoms you now get to exercise. The women after you deserve to inherit a world with even more. You get to play a part in expanding what every little girl will get to believe is possible.

You don’t just want to lead a business, a family, a team, or a movement. You want to lead yourself so fully that your life becomes an expression of the truth. Where you get to have the audacity to constantly want and claim more, the self-leadership to create it, and the freedom to fucking enjoy.
