Our “Pampered Mama" events are the answer- a time to commemorate this journey and the transition to motherhood. And for the mamas who already have kids and baby things, this is for you! Honor your pregnancy, for it may be your last time experiencing those sweet little kicks inside. You deserve to be celebrated.
Pampered Mama is our version of the traditional Navajo Blessingway, which is a pre-birth ceremony honoring the new mother rising.
The closest women and soul sisters in her life, those she deeply trusts and cherishes, gather to celebrate her pregnancy & her journey to motherhood.
It is a sacred, powerful, affirming, and momentous occasion - a day of love, support, celebration, femininity, and empowerment. It is a day to gather strength and confidence, share wisdom, engage in sisterhood, give well wishes, blessings, and pamper the mother to be.
The evolution to motherhood is a profound one. This celebration is an incredibly special moment in time to honor this short lived experience of pregnancy. Creating, growing, and carrying life inside is miraculous and leads to the most expansive transformation. A woman will move from housing two souls to birthing an individual life who will then have their own earthly path. It is something we may only experience a couple times in our lives and the depth of that transformation deserves acknowledgment and celebration.
Motherhood is filled with moments of purity, absolute wonder, challenges, chaos, and a beautifully overwhelming kind of love that truly knows no bounds. As a woman experiences this abundant, prolific time, these rituals of sisterhood allow her to feel the wealth of support behind her, leaving her feeling valued, nourished, enriched and deeply tended to.

Intention Tea Ceremony
As an opening to this gathering, we offer freshly brewed raspberry leaf tea, perfect in pregnancy to prepare the body for childbirth . With this tea, we set intentions for this time together and for our mama to be.

A beautifully arranged platter of fresh seasonal produce to nourish our bodies & souls.
Closing Wishes
To bring this celebration to a close, we share a chosen poem with the group and send the mama off with our sincerest wishes for her journey ahead.

Birth Affirmations
Each member of the gathering writes and decorates an affirmation card for the mama to have at her birth to remind her of her strength and the sisterhood of support behind her.
Sharing & Wisdom Circle
Sharing around the circle either a memory that exhibits the beautiful motherly qualities of the mama, a peace of wisdom from the women who came before her, or simply a message you’d like her to take with her as she moves forward on her path.
Goddess Massage
Those present for the celebration offer their loving support through gentle, physical touch. Massaging the mama to be allows her to feel connected in her body, increases blood flow & vitality, and relaxes her into the moment.
Bead Bracelet Tradition
Each woman is asked to bring a meaningful bead that will be given to the mother and strung onto a bracelet. As beads are added, a thought of encouragement or wisdom is offered. The bracelet serves as a reminder of the circle of support and love that surrounds her always.
Witness & Release
As we vulnerably share fears about the transition to motherhood, we are witnessed, heard, and cared for deeply by our sisters. We then partake in a ritual of release to let go of the emotions.
Embodied Movement
Intuitive, authentic, and embodied movement in the form of free dance. Let loose with your ladies, feel into your body, and move your hips - a fun way to connect.
Guided Meditation
A guided group meditation honoring the mother & baby. Celebrating all her body is enduring while bringing life into this world and the beauty in the experience while sending warm, loving energy to her.

Fourth Trimester Tribe
Organization of support for mama after birth by her tribe. Sign up for home cooked meals, nutritious snacks, grocery delivery, necessities, and mama care packages. It takes a village.

Red Thread Ritual
A thread is passed around the circle of women, each of them wrapping it around their wrist. The thread joins them in their sisterhood and when separated, the network of support remains with the mother to be. The thread that adorns these women is a symbol of their unbreakable bond and is removed with a sweet intention after birth.
